CARY
POLICE SEEK HELP IN identifying CREDIT CARD THIEF WHO TARGETS FEMALE
EMPLOYEES
Shown
here at the Harris Teeter, the
suspect is described as a black male with a husky build.
The suspect may also be driving a black SUV, which may be a Cadillac
Escalade or Chevrolet Avalanche. He
is also linked to two additional incidences that occurred earlier this year in
May and August.
On
May 31, the suspect stole a female employee’s wallet at Sanford Holshouser LLP,
201 Shannon Oaks Circle in Cary, and charged items on the victim’s
credit card at Walmart,
In
all of the incidences, the suspect entered the building and attempted to blend
in with other employees before stealing the cards.
The suspect then used the credit cards at several locations until the
spending limits were reached on the cards.
“We
are asking businesses to be very vigilant when it comes to unfamiliar persons on
their premises,” said Captain Dave Wulff.
“Anyone with information related to the thefts is asked to contact Cary
PD.”
