Raleigh Astronomy Club Hosts Observation in Cary

 

Saturn & Moon Observation
Saturday, January 3, 2004 , 7-10 p.m.
North Cary Park

The Raleigh Astronomy Club will host a public observation of Saturn at North Cary Park , 1100 Norwell Blvd. just off Cary Parkway .  Telescopes will be set up for viewing Saturn, which will be very bright in the east and tilted so that the rings will be easy to see, and the moon, which will be approaching full (88%).  This is a FREE event, held weather permitting.  In the event of inclement weather, cancellation information will be available at http://www.rtpnet.org/~rac/whatsnew.html.
