CARY , NC Three would-be thieves got more than they bargained for in Cary over the weekend when Town of Cary police arrested the men who are believed to be involved in a string of recent car break-ins.  Cary Police think the trio may be behind as many as 15 vehicle break-ins spanning more than two months.

On Saturday morning, January 10, the Cary Police Department conducted a special operation as a result of increased reports of motor vehicle break-ins in the Cardinal and Briarcliff apartment complexes in central Cary .  Shortly after 3 a.m. , three Hispanic males were observed breaking into a vehicle in the parking lot of the Briarcliff apartment complex. The three suspects were arrested and charged with felony breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and transported to the Wake County Public Safety Center in Raleigh .
