Friends of Hemlock Bluffs Annual Recycle Sale
Stevens Nature Center/Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Each year generous citizens donate their unwanted household items like toys, small appliances and furniture to be “recycled” to other families who shop ‘til they drop snatching up the bargains the day of the sale.  This annual fundraiser is truly a trash to treasure event.  What one person parts with, another will make a new start with!  Organized by the Friends of Hemlock Bluffs, proceeds benefit the programs and conservation efforts of Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve.  Call (919) 387-5880 for event information.

Music Makes Families and Friends…Families and Friends Make Music
Page-Walker Arts & History Center, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.            
Explore music and instruments during this day long event with members of the Mallarmé Chamber Players professional ensemble.  Enjoy an extraordinary day of music-based experiences for the entire family and friends, regardless of age or musical ability.  All participants the opportunity to perform, before family and friends, with members of the Mallarmé Chamber Players.  Fee: $25 per person

Cary Senior Center , Gate opens at 7:30pm , Movie from 8-11 p.m.   FREE!
Feature Presentation: How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, starring Kate Hudson, rated PG-13.  Enjoy movie trivia, prizes and more!  Bring your friends for this unique movie watching experience.  See movies that are picked by teens for teens!   The movie and popcorn are free, but bring a few dollars for candy and soft drinks, provided by the Cary Teen Council.
