Diwali

Free and open to the public.
This annual event, produced by Hum Sub and the Town of Cary, will
celebrate the culture of India through dance performances, authentic
Indian fare, skits, a bazaar for handmade crafts and clothing, fireworks
and a performance by Penn Masala, an internationally recognized a capella
ensemble. Diwali is the
most widely celebrated Hindu festival and marks the victory of good over
evil and the beginning of the New Year. Diwali means "a row of
