Dinner and a Movie

Cary Senior Center , gate opens at 7:30 p.m. , movie from 8 – 11 p.m. FREE!
Feature Presentation: The Lord of the Rings--The Two Towers, starring Elijah Wood, rated PG-13.  We want to pack the house on September 27th!  Enjoy a free movie, free pizza and free popcorn while hanging out with your friends.  Come on out for a great night of entertainment.  Bring a few dollars for candy and soft drinks, provided by the Cary Teen Council.

Marvelous Music Series
Livingston Taylor, 7:30 p.m. , Herbert C. Young Community Center
Join us as Livingston Taylor kicks off the 2003-2004 Marvelous Music Series! Wood and Steel Magazine says of him, “An unrepentant romantic, with a razor-sharp mind, a biting sense of humor, and a quirky view of the world.” Raised in Chapel Hill , North Carolina , this native son has produced nearly 15 albums and plays the guitar, piano, and banjo. He is an artist in residence at Harvard University and a Professor at the Berklee College of Music. A winner of the Boston Music Award for the “best folk and acoustic artist”, Livingston Taylor delights audiences across the United States with his own brand of folk music.
