QUESTIONS SOUGHT FOR RUNOFF CANDIDATE FORUM

CARY, NC – In anticipation of the likelihood of runoff races for the Town Council At Large and Mayor seats, Cary citizens are encouraged to submit questions now for the Town of Cary’s Runoff Candidate Forum, which is being managed again for the Town by the Wake County League of Woman Voters and cablecast on Cary TV 11.  Questions must include the author’s name and street—building number is not necessary; questions from anonymous sources will not be considered.  Limit one question per Cary citizen.   Submit questions now through October 14^th via US Postal Mail, email, or by fax to:

Just like the Town of Cary ’s September forum, the runoff event will include opening and closing remarks as well as questions from Cary citizens.  Additionally, the runoff forum will give each candidate the opportunity to pose one question for the candidate and his or her opponent to answer.  

The runoff forum will be taped from 1:30-4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 16^th in the Cary Town Council Chambers, and the public is invited to be part of the live audience; please note that questions will not be taken from the audience.
