Elementary School Red Ribbon Poster Contest Awards.
Eleven elementary schools will be represented by a 5th grade student who
will receive a Certificate of Appreciation and the top 4 will receive a trophy.

BACKGROUND: The
Red Ribbon Campaign was designed to allow students to demonstrate their
commitment to a healthy, drug-free lifestyle by creating a poster.
This year’s theme - "Follow Your Dreams-Don't Do Drugs" –
ran during the Red Ribbon week of October 23-31.
Red ribbons are worn during the week each year to remind us of the
importance of a drug-free life-style and to show those needing support we are
there for them.
