DEADLINE APPROACHES FOR
SECOND ANNUAL
CARY, NC – Friday, November 14 is the deadline for 2nd - 8th grade Cary students
and others attending Cary schools to enter the Town of Cary’s second annual
America Recycles Day Recyclable Sculpture Contest.
Sculptures must be made totally from items that can be recycled in

The public is invited to see the sculptures
on display at the
Founded
in 1997, America Recycles Day is a nationwide campaign to help spread the word
about recycling and buying items made from recycled materials.
In 2002, over 140,000 pledges to recycle and buy recycled products were
entered for the national awards. See
