CARY CANDIDATE RUNOFF FORUM BEGINS AIRING TOMORROW

CARY , NC – The Town of Cary ’s candidate forum for mayoral and at-large runoff elections will begin airing daily on Cary TV 11 through November 3 starting tomorrow, Friday, October 24.  For a daily schedule of the runoff forum as well as other CARY TV programming, click on the CARY TV 11 icon at www.townofcary.org or check CARY TV’s weekly listing on page A-5 in The Cary News.  The forum will also be available on the Web starting tomorrow at www.townofcary.org.  

Just like the Town of Cary ’s September forum, the runoff event l included opening and closing remarks as well as questions from Cary citizens.  Additionally, the runoff forum gave candidates the opportunity to pose one question for his or her opponent to answer.   

The runoff forum, which was managed by the Wake County League of Women Voters, was taped in front of a live audience on Thursday, October 16, 2003 in the Cary Town Council Chambers.  

Established in 1998, Cary TV is the Town of Cary ’s 24-hour government access channel and is available to Time Warner Cable subscribers throughout western Wake County on cable channel 11.
