RECYCLABLE SCULPTURE CONTEST
FOR
AMERICA RECYCLES DAY

 

Cary students and others attending Cary schools in 2nd through 8th grade are invited to create sculptures totally from items that can be recycled in the Cary curbside recycling program.   All entries, weighing no more than 10 pounds and no taller nor wider than 24 inches, must be submitted on November 14th between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Cary Towne Center . Sculptures will be on display at the Cary Towne Center from November 15 - 21, 2003 .  The contest is sponsored by the Town of Cary , Wake County Solid Waste Management, and the Cary Towne Center .  Prizes for the winning sculptures are being donated by Bullwinkle’s, Carolina Recycling Assoc., Cary Towne Center , Crossroads 20, JellyBeans, The Ice House, The Loop, and REI.   For more information, call the Town of Cary ’s Public Works & Utilities Department at (919) 469-4090 or visit www.townofcary.org.
