CARY, NC – The Town of Cary’s Police Department is asking for your help in apprehending a man who used nickel plated handgun to rob tellers at a Cary bank just before noon today. Around 11:08 AM today, a man entered the Bank of America at 1001 St. Charles Place and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect exited the bank and left on foot. No one was injured in the incident. Four bank employees and one customer were inside at the time. Cary Police are looking for a black male, 6' tall, 130-140 lbs. wearing a dark baseball cap, black shirt, dark pants, and a blue scarf around his face. The suspect also had a white towel wrapped across the top of his head. Cary Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the identification and apprehension of the individual responsible for this crime.
