NEW YEAR BRINGS MODIFICATIONS TO RESERVATION POLICIES FOR TOWN OF CARY
FACILITIES
Policies regarding reservation of town picnic shelters will be
implemented effective January 1, 2003. In addition changes to advance
reservation of Page-Walker Arts & History Center begins February 1.
Modifications include advance reservation, deposits and implementation of
cancellation fees. These changes were approved at the Cary Town Council
meeting on December 12, 2002.
Modifications to Picnic Shelter Reservation Policy
- Nonresident fee set at an additional 50%.
- Full payment will be required at time of reservation, eliminating
deposits.
- Reservations can now be made up to six months in advance for Cary
residents and five months for nonresidents.
- Implement a cancellation fee of $25 for reservations not canceled
within 30 days of use. Reservations canceled less than 30 days in
advance will be refunded amount paid, less $25 cancellation fee.
Page-Walker Arts & History Center
- Reservations can be made up to twelve months in advance for Cary
residents and to six months in advance for nonresidents.
