The Veterans Freedom Project Committee invites citizen input for a planned public art project to honor community members who have served their country through the armed services. Participants will conceptualize and shape this project into an inclusive community wide expression. The forum will feature presentations by public art professionals Jeffrey York of the North Carolina Arts Council and Laura Coats Harrar of Cary Visual Art. The Veterans Freedom Project is a community initiative in partnership with Cary Visual Art and the Heart of Cary Association and is co-sponsored by Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department.
