CARY BANK ROBBED AT GUNPOINT TODAY


CARY, NC – The Town of Cary Police Department is asking for your help in apprehending a man who used a black, semi-automatic handgun to rob a Cary bank just before noon today. This is the second bank robbery in Cary in less than a week.

A few minutes after 11 a.m. today, a man entered the Fidelity Bank Branch located at 2416 SW Cary Parkway and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect exited the bank and left on foot. No one was injured in the incident.

Cary Police are looking for a dark skinned male, wearing a hooded camouflage jacket. He also had his face concealed with a white cloth or towel.

Cary Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the identification and apprehension of the individual responsible for this crime.
