RESEED WITH CAUTION IN CARY—BAN ON WATERING EXEMPTIONS REMAINS IN EFFECT
As announced on August 14th, the Town of Cary is not granting exemptions this fall from watering restrictions for reseeding or establishing new landscapes because of the drought. The ban on fall watering rule exemptions applies to all customers—commercial and residential—and affects all plantings--new plantings as well as reseeding. Currently, outdoor irrigation systems may only be used two days a week by residents and one day a week by businesses. Handwatering is allowed any day. Visit the Water Conservation section on the Town’s Web site, www.townofcary.org.
