TOWN OF CARY’S
WEEKEND UPDATE

Friday:

"Romeo & Juliet: Or, The World Is Not Enough"
An artistic version of Shakespeare's classic play produced and directed by Heidi Jacot, will be presented at the Page-Walker Arts & History Center at 8 p.m. According to Jacot, "Broadminded 21st century Americans have a tendency to look at Romeo and Juliet and ask, 'Why can't everyone just get along?' In this male-male version, we can focus on the journey Juliet makes from a quiet, observant child to a person who makes his (or her) own choices. Surrounded by the endless chatter of what we should or ought to be, Romeo and Juliet find in each other the one person who accepts them as they are." Tickets are available at the Page-Walker two hours before each performance. Information: (919) 460-4963.
