ADDED FOCUS ON PROGRAM FOR AND BY TEENS
KICKS OFF IN CARY THIS WEEKEND

CARY, NC – Beginning with this Saturday night, teens rule in Cary every 4th Saturday of the month with Teen Movie Night, featuring movies picked by teens for teens in an outdoor setting. This Saturday, October 27 at 8:00PM, middle and high school teens can enjoy one of Halloween’s classic movies, Gremlins, under the stars at Sertoma Amphitheater in Bond Park, 801 High House Road. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $3 (residents) or $5 (non-residents) or may be purchased at the gate for $5. The gate opens at 7:30PM. Popcorn and a drink will be provided free; other concessions will be available for purchase at reasonable prices.

Town of Cary Teen Movie Night is part of an added emphasis on teen programming. New sports, arts, fitness, and recreation activities just for teens are being planned throughout the year. Upcoming events include a trip to Adventure Landing on November 2 for middle school students, and a horseback riding trip for high school students on November 10.

More information about Teen Movie Night and other Teen Scene activities is available on the Town’s website at www.townofcary.org under Recreation, Entertainment and Other Things to See & Do or by calling 919-460-4966.

In case of rain, the movie will be shown in the Cary Senior Center in Bond Park.
