On Saturday, August 25, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Cary utility customers will have an opportunity to purchase 55-gallon rain barrels to capture rainwater from downspouts. Customers may either prepay at the Water Conservation booth at Lazy Daze and pick up their barrel at the Community Center before 5:00 PM or just go directly to the Community Center to purchase their barrel. Barrels cost $50 plus tax. Cash or checks made out to The Rain King will be accepted.
