Paver Dedication to take place at Stevens Nature Center
at Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve

The Hemlock Bluffs Preservation Society, recently renamed Friends of Hemlock Bluffs, will be dedicating the first installation of personalized pavers in the garden of the Stevens Nature Center on Friday, September 7th at 4:00pm. The proceeds of paver sales by the Friends of Hemlock Bluffs are donated to the Town of Cary to assist with the funding for the final phase of environmental education exhibits to be installed in the Stevens Nature Center's exhibit hall. A mini-theater featuring video productions about Hemlock Bluffs, the associated natural habitats and local wildlife will orient visitors to the site and engage them to the wonders and uniqueness of this nature preserve located right in Cary. The public is invited to attend the dedication and learn more about the Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve, the Friends of Hemlock Bluffs and the Paver Project. Light refreshments will be provided. Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve is located at 2616 Kildaire Farm Road, between Lochmere Drive and Penny Road. For more information, call 919-387-5980.
