CARY POLICE INVESTIGATE MISSING PERSON

 

CARY, NC – The Town of Cary Police Department is asking for your assistance in locating a Cary woman who has been reported missing since October 5th. Kathleen A. Baker, 33, of London Plaines Court in Cary was seen by her mother on Friday morning around 7:00 AM when Baker left for work in Raleigh at Mutek Solutions at 2700 Sumner Boulevard. Coworkers report that Baker left Mutek unexpectedly and without explanation about two hours later, around 9:00 AM. No one has heard from Baker since, but her vehicle, a gold 2001 Ford Explorer, was found by the Wake County Sheriff’s Department off Ten-Ten Road on Smith Road just south of Cary on Saturday. Foul play is not suspected at this time.

Baker is described as a thin, white female with shoulder-length light brown/blonde hair and blue eyes, about 5’9" tall and 125 lbs.

Cary Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the location of the missing woman. Anyone with information may contact Crime Stoppers at 226-CRIM(E), pressing option 3 for Cary. All calls will be kept CONFIDENTIAL at caller's request.
