Diwali is the most widely celebrated Indian festival, which marks the victory of good over evil. Diwali means a "row of lights." In India, Diwali is synonymous with several nights of fireworks and beautiful decoration of houses with clay lamps, which are a feast for the eyes. Diwali is indeed a much anticipated festival in India for the sheer joy and happiness of exchanging gifts, decorating houses and the fun and excitement of setting-off fire crackers by young and old alike.
