C-TRAN EXPANDS FOR STATE FAIR
Senior and disabled residents of Cary will be able to go to and from the North Carolina State Fair this month on
C-Tran—the Town of Cary’s low cost, door-to-door transit system launched in August. At a cost of $4.00 each way, C-Tran’s mix of nine new, fully accessible buses and vans is available for the State Fair to registered, disabled and/or seniors living in Cary. Rides are by reservation only, Monday through Saturday 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Reservations must be made no less than one day before travel and no more than two weeks in advance. The reservation center is open Monday through Saturday 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM. On Sunday, an answering machine will accept ride requests for a Monday trip, and riders will be called Monday morning to confirm.
