The Town of Cary Fire Department will host its annual Christmas Tree fire safety burn for the media this Thursday, December 14^th at 5:30 PM at Fire Station 5 on High House Road (just west of Davis Drive). Three trees will be burned: one that hasn’t been watered since being acquired in late November, one that has been watered regularly, and one that’s been sprayed with a flame retardant. Firefighters will be on hand to answer questions about holiday fire safety.
