WEEKEND UPDATE

WEEKEND UPDATE is a publication from the Town of Cary distributed each Thursday afternoon to help you plan your weekend news coverage. WEEKEND UPDATE gives the date, time, location, contact person, and short description for any significant activity sponsored in whole or in part by the Town during the upcoming Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. A NR designation indicates that the activity does have an associated news release, so check your files or visit us online for further details.

The length of each WEEKEND UPDATE will vary depending on the number of activities scheduled, and when, on that rare occasion, there are no weekend activities to report, no WEEKEND UPDATE will be issued.

*Friday:*	~~Blues in the Night~~, an eighteen member big band led by Mark Gloden, will present the final Starlight Concert at Page-Walker Arts & History Center, 119 Ambassador Loop on the Town Hall Campus, 7:30 PM. Concert-goers are invited to picnic on the lawn and dance the night away as vocalist Angie Davenport brings back memories from the big band era of blues and swing.
