WEEKEND UPDATE is a publication from the Town of Cary to help you plan your weekend news coverage. WEEKEND UPDATE gives the date, time, location, contact person, and short description for any significant activity sponsored in whole or in part by the Town during the upcoming Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. A NR designation indicates that the activity does have an associated news release, so check your files or visit us online for further details.
The length of each WEEKEND UPDATE will vary depending on the number of activities scheduled, and when, on that rare occasion, there are no weekend activities to report, no WEEKEND UPDATE will be issued.

The
Starlight Concert Series continues with the Blues in the
Night for the concert finale. Music begins at dusk and
ends in darkness on Friday, August 18 at 7:30pm. This
free concert series takes place outdoors in the garden at
Page-Walker Arts and History, 119 Ambassador Loop on the
Town Hall campus. Concert-goers are invited to bring lawn
