ROADS SLIPPERY BUT OKAY IN CARY
THIS MORNING

CARY, NC – Town of Cary crews are sanding and salting bridges and overpasses in Cary, and drivers should take their time commuting this morning, keeping an eye out for slippery spots in Cary.

One accident occurred in Cary overnight when a car slid into a ditch, but no one was seriously hurt. This brings to 11 the total number of traffic accidents linked to the rare, Pre-Thanksgiving snow.

About three-dozen Town of Cary staff worked overnight to keep major roadways. It was not necessary to also use private contractors from Garner.

About two inches of snow fell overall at the Town’s operations center in central Cary.

As with any weather event, complete information on how to cope along with what the Town is doing to help is available online at www.townofcary.org.

No further snow releases are expected.
