MEDIA EVENT TO HIGHLIGHT DELIVERY OF
FIRST CHECKS TO PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The Town of Cary will host a special event for the media this Thursday, November 9^th at 9:30 AM for the distribution of the first checks to 43 area public schools as part of the Town’s first-of-its-kind-in-the-state effort to strengthen economic development through the donation of millions of dollars to increase educational opportunities.

Please gather in front of Town Hall at 316 N. Academy Street for about 30 minutes to hear remarks from and ask questions of high-ranking officials involved in the project. Then, pick a Town Council member to follow to nearby schools where you can cover special check delivery to principals and students scheduled for 10:30 AM, 11:15 AM, and 12 noon.
