FLUID SPILL CAUSING

TRAFFIC DETOUR IN CARY

CARY, NC -- Town officials in Cary have closed portions of the Cary Parkway due to the cleanup of a transmission fluid spill which occurred earlier this afternoon. There is no danger to the public. The westbound lanes of the Parkway from Lake Pines to Old Apex Road are closed and may remain closed throughout the evening as the cleanup is concluded.

Cary Police suggest that motorists use alternate routes throughout the evening to avoid long delays.
