POLICY PURPOSE:

To provide guidance to the development review staff regarding information reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Board.

POLICY COVERAGE:

This policy, upon adoption by the Town Council, shall be applicable to all plans reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Board including subdivision plans, rezonings and PUDs, and it shall remain in effect until it is altered, modified, or rescinded by the Town Council.

POLICY:

1. If the development review staff has insufficient information to formulate a recommendation on plans in time for inclusion in the Planning and Zoning Board packet, the staff can in its discretion table the item for thirty (30) days or more. The tabled item will be placed on the Board’s consent agenda as an item tabled by staff.

2. Planning and Zoning Board packets are sent out the Monday before the Monday night Board meeting. However, if the scheduled Monday delivery date is a holiday, packets are sent out on the next working day.
