STONE CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE REQUIRED FOR SINGLE FAMILY UNITS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Procedures for requiring stone construction entrances on single family units under construction.

Coverage

This policy, upon adoption by the Town Council, shall apply to all single family units under construction in the Town of Cary’s jurisdiction.

Policy

In an effort to reduce the amount of mud and debris on Town streets, each single family unit will be required to install a stone construction entrance according to Detail No. 4.07 of the Town of Cary Standard Specifications and Details.

Before the first building inspection can be signed off, the stone entrance will have to be properly installed as per Detail 4.07.

If it is determined the stone construction entrance is not according to Town of Cary Standard 4.07, then no inspections will be performed until the construction entrance is properly installed.

The construction entrance must be maintained for the life of the project.
