Ordinances and Policies
The
Town of Cary is dedicated to preserving and protecting our finite natural
resources. In 1996 the Town Council established a Water
Conservation and Demand Management Policy. To achieve the goals of this
policy, the Town Council has passed ordinances as referred to in the questions
below.
Is it my day to water according to the Town of Cary's year round alternate day watering limitation?
Does my automatic irrigation system comply with the rain sensor ordinance?
Are any of my irrigation heads or sprinklers watering the driveway or street in violation of the water waste ordinance?
Has my irrigation system received the required plumbing permits?
