| Join the Block Leader Program! Are you interested in conservation efforts within the Town, working with others and actively participating in your local government? Then join the Block Leader program! The Block Leader program is a special effort by the Town to educate citizens about conservation. Block Leaders are citizens who volunteer as grassroots environmental educators to increase their neighbors’ awareness and understanding of our Town’s water conservation, pretreatment of waste water, stormwater and solid waste and recycling programs. The Town provides promotional materials once every spring for Block Leaders to distribute to neighbors. Block Leaders do not solicit anything from their neighbors, nor do they enforce ordinances. New Block Leaders are welcome to join at anytime. Block Leaders serve areas ranging from a single cul-de-sac to an entire subdivision, depending on how much time they are able to volunteer. Please join us at one of our upcoming annual orientations. 2008 Orientations Location: Page-Walker Arts and History Center Contact Srijana Guilford |
