Fall Town-Wide Collection (No Charge)
The Town collects loose leaves two times before Christmas at no charge. Place loose leaves curbside by 7 a.m. on the first scheduled day of collection for your area. Avoid fire hydrants and water meters.

Year-round Alternatives
Regular yard waste collection includes properly prepared leaves. Place yard waste at the curb by 7 a.m. in reusable containers, paper bags or securely tied bundles. The maximum amount is 240 cubic feet - 8 feet long by 5 feet wide by 6 feet. Two men must be able to load it within 10 minutes. Yard waste is not collected during weeks with Town holidays.
The Cary Convenience Center also accepts leaves. The center is on North Dixon Avenue, which is near downtown off West Chatham Street.
