Teen Council
Interested in becoming involved in your community, but not sure about how to go about doing so? The Cary Teen Council, a youth volunteer organization made up of fun and fascinating students from the 6-12 grades and different schools in Cary, is the best place to start! While volunteering at local events, you will meet and make friends with many teens who share the same ambitions as you. By becoming involved with the Cary Teen Council, you will have the opportunity to get involved in programs and events that focus on social/recreational, community awareness/service, educational, leadership/teamwork and fundraising/recruitiment. Many Cary Teen Council members receive a chance to serve in an advisory capacity for various Town boards and commissions. This looks great on résumé’s and college applications!
The Cary Teen Council meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 6:45-8 p.m. at the Cary Senior Center, inside Bond Park, unless otherwise noted.
Membership applications are accepted June and Decemeber of each year. For more information call (919) 460-4965 or visit www.townofcary.org Teen Council
