2008 'Cary Cup' Table Tennis Championship The Cary Table Tennis Association (Cary TTA) and the Town of Cary host the seventh annual Cary Cup Table Tennis Championship, a nationally and internationally-recognized event. Some of the top table tennis athletes in the United States, Canada, Europe and South America will compete for more than $13,000 in total prize money in largest round robin table tennis competition in the USA. The tournament also features doubles events and a classic table tennis (hardbat) event reminiscent of table tennis played in the 1940’s. This event, entitled the U.S. Classic Open, will award more than $2,000 in prize money for the top finalists. Spectators for the tournament are welcome, and admission is free for any portion of the tournament.
