Scholarship Funds

The Town of Cary provides the opportunity for Cary residents to apply for scholarships and/or reduction of fees for Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources’ programs. If you are interested in donating $1 or more to the scholarship fund, please indicate it in the total on your registration form and include it in your check. Thank you!

EZ-REG Mail-in

Mail-in registration forms and full payment are accepted year-round. Please complete the registration form in this brochure and return to the address indicated at step 6. Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources is not responsible for lost mail.

Availability

Steps to follow:

1. Complete registration form provided in this brochure. Please print all information. Always include the Class Code. Duplicate forms if necessary.

2. Nonresidents, indicate and pay appropriate fee.

3. READ AND SIGN WAIVER. Registrant will not be allowed to participate without signed waiver.

4. Enclose Full Payment. Some classes will fill quickly. If you are willing to credit your account, write one check. If not, please write separate checks for each class per person. (A credit can be used toward any future program registration at any Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources facility.)

5. Make checks payable to “Town of Cary”.

EZ-REG Walk-in

Registration forms may be processed in person at any Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources facility during the designated walk-in registration period.

Availability

Steps to follow:

1. Complete registration form provided in this brochure. Please print all information. Always include the Class Code. Duplicate forms if necessary.

4. Cash, check, money order, Visa, or MasterCard are accepted as payment during walk-in registration. Make checks payable to “Town of Cary”.

5. Take completed registration form to any Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Staffed Facility. See page 2 for a complete list of facilities.

EZ-REG Phone –

EZ-REG Phone allows you to register and pay for classes 24 hours a day using an automated service and your touch-tone phone. Some classes are not available for registration using this system. Please read program descriptions carefully.

➤ Course codes or course info from the Program Brochure

➤ Visa or MasterCard number and expiration date

Steps to follow:

1. Call (919) 462-2017 from a touch tone phone.

2. Listen carefully to the messages. You will be asked to enter your Client Code, followed by the # sign, then your Family Account PIN, followed by the # sign, before hearing the Main Menu.

3. Select the desired option from the Main Menu and enter information as directed by the prompts.

4. Payment must be received during the call for any selections to be processed. Once your payment has been accepted you will be given a receipt number. This number is your confirmation of registration.

You must pay for courses selected during the transaction in order for your registration to be complete. Once you have pressed “7” to pay your account balance, you will begin to finalize this transaction and will not be able to go back and add any more courses.

EZ-REG Web –

EZ-REG Web allows you to register for classes, check class availability, view your account information, or make payments 24 hours a day. Some classes are not available for registration using this system. Please read program descriptions carefully.

Steps to follow:

1. Begin at http://www.classweb.townofcary.org.

2. Click on the EZ-REG Web link on the sidebar.

3. Click on the Activities Tab.

4. Type in a course code in the Quick Link box or select desired search criteria from the pull down menus.

5. Select the desired activity or return to the search page.

6. Click Add to put the course in your basket (the first time you do this, you will be asked to enter your Client Code and Family Account PIN).

7. Select the family member you wish to register for this course from the pull down menu. Then press the Update My Basket button. Use the Activities Tab to search for additional classes or press the Go to Checkout button to pay for classes.

8. Review the charges and enter payment information as required. Press the Complete Transaction button.

9. For your confirmation, please print the Registration Was Successful page.

You must pay for courses selected during the transaction in order for your registration to be complete. Following payment you may review registrations in the My Account Tab.

Waitlist Notice

When registering yourself or a family member for a class, you may have to place yourself on a waitlist if the class is full—make sure you always request, receive and keep your waitlist confirmation information. Later, if you are able to successfully register for a class within that same activity series using electronic registration methods (EZ-Reg Phone or EZ-Reg Web), the system will remove you from all waitlists within that activity series. If this happens to you and you wish to remain waitlisted, please have your waitlist confirmation available and contact any Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources facility for assistance.

➤ Press 1 to register for a course.

➤ Press 5 to check your account balance. Your account balance will include the amount due for any courses selected.

➤ Press 7 to pay your account balance and complete your registration.

➤ Press 9 to exit the system without completing any registration. Your waitlist requests will still be valid if you select this option.
