“I love to paint. I love art. I love, if color surrounds an object on the canvas. My newest passion is metal. My new project is a series called EMBRACE 3000, where I combine canvas painting with my metal work. I use the canvas as a stable place for my sheet metal cut creations, which are then bolted securely to the frame. The work plays with the contrast of soft and hard, smooth and coarse, bright pigment and the dull sheen of the metal. I take two very different artistic schools and bring them harmoniously together.”

“I work to be an experimental artist who focuses on the relationships and similarities in nature. I am particularly interest in how parts of nature relate to each other. When I am working, I constantly ask myself “What if...?” I am looking for the bold and daring...for the “Wow”! My painting matters to me: the remaking of a uintenable world through the bristles of a paintbrush. It matters so much I can’t stop painting!”
