Cary Dog Park @ Robert V. Godbold Park

The Town of Cary’s first dog park provides a place for dog owners to let their pets run safely and legally without a leash. The park is a one acre fenced area accessed through Robert V. Godbold Park at 2050 N.W. Maynard Road

Features

➤ Five-foot high chain link fence with screening, paved
entrance & electronic gate

➤ Lighted areas for small dogs and for large dogs

➤ Wood chips for ground cover

➤ Benches

➤ Water stations

➤ Information kiosk

➤ Pet cleanup areas

Hours of Operation:

7 a.m.-10 p.m. Daily (no entry allowed after 9 p.m.)

What you will need to register:

➤ Town of Cary Pet ID Tag required for Town of Cary residents – Pet tags may be obtained along with the purchase of the Dog Park Pass at any Town of Cary Community Center. This is a one time fee of $20 for animals that have not been neutered or spayed and $10 for animals that have been neutered or spayed. You must provide proof from your veterinarian that this operation has been performed. Acceptable forms of proof are either a copy of the bill for the operation or your veterinarian’s signature on the pet tag application form.

➤ Proof of current rabies vaccination
