Art lessons start with Miss Linda as she takes you on an exploration of art materials and techniques from paper crafts to simple constructions. Look at art through the ages and the world around you as you explore ways to make art. Then with the help of Miss Linda, create wonderful art pieces to take home. It’s time to get ready, get set, get Art!

Children must be the miniumum age before the beginning of class to be eligible to register. Programs that include age K5 are for 5 year olds who are currently attending Kindergarten.
Parents and children are to attend together and both must have valid membership passes. Children under 10 years old are to have direct parental supervision.
Prerequisite:
Successful completion of a Jordan Hall Arts Center ceramic arts course. Instructor and parental approval.
Visit the studio during supervised times.

At Jordan Hall Arts Center, pottery is kept for one month after the last day of class. Please make arrangements to pick up your child’s work within that time.

• 1lb. Clay must be purchased from Jordan Hall Arts Center
- includes two firings.
Bring:
• Smock or old shirt to protect clothing.
• Towel for clean up.
• Small bucket to carry supplies, clay, etc.
Kiln Firing:
Due to kiln firing schedules, work may need to be picked up one or two weeks following the end of the class. Call for pickup times. We do not offer makeup classes or provide materials.

DIRT ALERT!
Art is a messy business!
Please send children to Jordan Hall Arts Center classes in old clothing. Though smocks are available, they do not protect sleeves and pants from media. Nontoxic glues and pastes can bind to fabric. Water-soluble paint pigments can discolor fabric.
