Ceramics: Handbuilding Techniques

Pottery Handbuilding Techniques (age 16 & up)

Glass Art

Fused Glass, Beginning (age 16 & up)

Explore the art of fused glass. Learn to translate drawings into glass designs, the correct use of tools, preparing glass for firing, types of glass and terminology. Fused Glass For Fun (age 16 & up)

Experience art in its most stress free way as you select colorful glass, lay out a design, and assemble pieces that become permanently fused when fired. Lazy Daze is the highest ranked one day festival in the Nation for Classic & Contemporary Craft Shows by Sunshine Artist Magazine. The tradition continues, as one of North Carolina’s premier arts and crafts festival marks its 32nd annual festival.

It’s a fun day for the entire family — arts and crafts, food, Kid’s World and two huge stages with entertainment all day.
