Phase 2 Improvements

Final plans are underway for expanding the park facilities at Middle Creek Park. Find out more about Phase II improvements. A third and final phase is to be completed at a later date.  Attached is a plan showing all three phases.

Park Hours of Operation:
Sunrise to Sunset.  In lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved extended use activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the approved activity.

Park Rules and Regulations:

  1. NO PETS ALLOWED IN SOFTBALL/BASEBALL COMPLEX
  2. All pets outside the softball/baseball complex must be kept on leash at all times
  3. Skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, etc. are prohibited inside the softball/baseball complex
  4. Parking prohibited in designated areas only.
  5. All alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
  6. Damage to Plants and Turf is prohibited.
  7. Open Fires are prohibited, except in designated areas.
  8. Weapons of any kind are prohibited.
  9. Injuring or endangering wildlife is prohibited.

From Interstate 40, US 1 South, 64 West from Raleigh: Take Exit 293A.  Travel towards Sanford. Travel 6.1 miles and take Exit 96 Ten-Ten Rd. Make a right at the top of the exit ramp and travel 5 miles. At the fifth stop light, make right onto West Lake Rd. Travel 1.2 miles and make a right onto Middle Creek Park Ave. Turn left at sign that reads 151 Middle Creek

From US 1 North from Sanford: Take Exit 96 Ten-Ten Rd. Make a left at the top of the exit ramp and travel 5 miles. At the fifth stop light, make right onto West Lake Rd. Travel 1.2 miles and make a right onto Middle Creek Park Ave. Turn left at sign that reads 151 Middle Creek.

From Highway 64 East towards Raleigh: Take Exit for US 1 south towards Sanford.Travel approximately one mile and take Exit 96 Ten-Ten Road.Make a right at the top of the exit ramp and travel 5 miles. At the fifth stop light make right onto West Lake Road.Travel 1.2 miles and make a right onto Middle Creek Park Ave.Turn left at sign that reads 151 Middle Creek.
