Overview
The first phase of Middle Creek School/Park was completed in early 2002 in conjunction with Middle Creek High School. The current Town-owned facilities include Middle Creek Community Center (attached to the high school); four softball fields with a central building housing concessions, restrooms, storage, and scorekeeping; a paved trail circling the softball field complex; and eight tennis courts.
The proposed facilities for Phases II include:
- A large multi-use athletic field. This field will be able to accommodate several different sports in addition to soccer, including football, lacrosse, and cricket. The playing field boundaries can also be arranged in various orientations since the multi-use field is a wide rectangular shape, and a couple of games can be played at once with most types of sports listed above.
- Playground
- Picnic shelter and restroom
- Disc golf course
- Greenway around the multi-use field
- Maintenance building
- Parking lot
- Ticket Kiosk(s) at the Softball Complex
See attached plan.
Schedule
