CHILDREN’S VILLAGE

The Children’s Village is a fun and interactive area providing a place for parents and their children to hang out and have a fun time-whatever the age. This section of the festival will feature interactive exhibits, crafts and food especially geared towards the younger set. Parents and their children will enjoy the handcrafted toys, puppets and face painting. Throughout the day, the Children’s Village Stage will feature magicians, musicians, clowns and actors. Don't miss Cary's own Applause! Cary Youth Theatre.

Location
The Children’s Village is located in and around the Lazy Daze Playground. The Lazy Daze Playground was dedicated in 1985. An $8,000 grant from the Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival Committee and a matching grant from Wake County were included in the funding.

Activities
Join us in the Children's Village and make fun crafts and experience the joy of sharing them with children who are less fortunate, draw pictures of animals you've seen in the park (prizes will be awarded!) and play it safe by getting a Children's Identification Kit for your child!
