Elks Hoop Shoot

Each year, the Town of Cary and Cary-Apex Lodge #2798 host the local competition of the Elks National Free Throw “Hoop Shoot” Contest. The local competition is open to boys and girls and features three divisions:
- Ages 8-9
- Ages 10-11
- Ages 12-13
Winners will qualify for subsequent competitions leading to a national championship. National champions’ names will be enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
Registration Information
Participants must register prior to the competition and provide a copy of his or her birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or passport. Registration is free.
