Military Leave
How long may an employee be absent for military leave?- An employee who is a member of an Armed Forces Reserve organization or the National Guard is granted two consecutive weeks leave in any fiscal year for training purposes.
- If upon presentation of the Federal Government Pay Voucher and the Federal government pay is below the employee's Town of Cary wages, the difference will be computed and paid by the Town.
- If the employee is called up to active duty, the Town will pay the differential in wages (if applicable) for up to one year.
