Web Use Report November 2001 This is the third of bimonthly reports on Web use statistics for townofcary.org. The third major overhaul of the Web site was completed in July 2001, and statistics for this report reflect the topical focus of the site. However, reliable judgments about features and organization require additional months of comparison. I. Summary of Activity Web site activity during November 2001 was up nearly 4 percent over September. In November, the week of Nov. 5 was busiest with 36,489 requests for pages. The busiest day was Nov. 19 with 7,575 page requests. In descending order, the busiest days on average were Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The least busy day was Saturday. The busiest hour on average was 3-4 p.m. The four most visited files remain unchanged from September. The fifth most-visited file in September, Meetings Calendar, did not make the most-visited list in November. Leaf collection was service or program that drew the most "hits" during November. II. Feedback messages included about a dozen complaints, at least nine suggestions or requests, at least nine questions, several "sales calls" from software vendors, and several compliments.
