Web Use Report July 2001 This is the first of bimonthly reports on usage statistics for townofcary.org. The third major overhaul of the Web site was completed in July 2001, and statistics for this report reflect the new topical focus of the site. However, reliable judgments about the usefulness of features and organization require several months of comparison. I. Summary of Activity This report provides a baseline for townofcary.org visitation. Trends in usage will be measured over multiple reports. The week of July 16 was the busiest of the month with 49,240 requests for pages. That was the week that the overhauled Web site was launched. However, the busiest day was July 2 with 10,471 page requests. In descending order, the busiest days on average were Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Wednesday. Sunday was least busy. II.
