OF INTENT

CLOSING
A
RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL TO CONSIDER THE CLOSING
OF a portion of right of way of
WHEREAS, G.S. 160A-299 authorizes the Town Council of the Town of
WHEREAS, G.S. 160A-299 requires that certain procedures be followed including
the calling of a public hearing, and the Town Council of the Town of

Wake County tax records a copy of this Resolution of Intent with Exhibit A;
(4) The Engineering Department is directed to prominently post a notice of
the closing and public hearing in at least two places along said street. If
the street is under the authority and control of the Department of
Transportation, the Engineering Department shall mail a copy of this Resolution
of Intent to the Department of Transportation.
Upon motion duly made by Council member Gale Adcock, and duly seconded by
Council member Ervin Portman, the above resolution was duly adopted by the Town
Council at the regular meeting held on the 14th day of May 2009, in
the Town Hall.
