Overview

Welcome to the third version of the Town of Cary's Maps Online, which makes our extensive collection of geographic information easier for you to use.

We've upgraded Maps Online based on specific direction from the Town Council and lots of citizen input. Use it to help keep up with what's going on around you, enjoy the Town's many amenities, and become involved in the community. With our improved Maps Online, you can:

  • See development activities such as current annexation and rezoning cases and site and subdivision plan. Also locate road building and other capital projects we have under way.
  • Get voting information such as which Town Council district you live in and where to vote.
  • Get property information such as existing zoning, owner's name, appraised value and other basic information for a piece of property. Also locate water and sewer lines and stream buffers.
  • Find the park that is closest to you or find where to play tennis or have a picnic.
We lead you through the steps of how to use Maps Online.

For more detail, Maps Online includes links to Web pages about our parks, road projects that are under way, rezoning and approved development plans, etc. See which issues are addressed during rezoning and which ones are handled during site plan review.

Preparing for the Future

For a look farther down the road, we encourage you to check out the Town's vision for the future.

The Land Development Ordinance controls zoning, subdivision of land, building appearance, landscaping, signs, parking, and other aspects of development. The Comprehensive Plan is a compilation of many separate plans and elements that together describe the Town's official vision for Cary's future.
