Project Highlights
- Office area expansion
from 45,991 to 156,836 square feet, laid out to meet
the needs of Town of Cary programming and services
- New Council
chambers with seating for 325 (including council
members, etc.) with standing room for an additional 100 people in an
upper level gallery area, more than double what the old council chambers
could accommodate. Also includes offices, rest rooms, and conference
rooms.
- Parking garage
with 486 spaces, bringing the total to 838 spaces on campus.
Additional Features
- Central concourse with convenient customer service areas for such
purposes as utility service and payment; building inspections and permitting;
and Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources programming. Two-level
concourse provides entry point to various Town departments.
- State-of-the-art audio-visual system in council chambers
- Architectural unity on campus through the use of pre-cast concrete,
brick finishes and landscaping
- Civic arboretum with extensive landscaping, terraced central plaza,
courtyard and reflecting pool
- Upgraded landscaping for Page-Walker Arts and History Center

Town regulations
